About · Liverpool
Lewis Ian Bray. A working actor, in the trenches with you.
I’m not coaching from the sidelines. I’m on set and self-taping just as much as the actors I work with.
I’m a screen actor from the Wirral. I trained at the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Youth Theatre and became its first Ignition Artist. Every week I face the same auditions, deadlines and nerves you do, so what I teach is what I use.
On screen
- A Town in Nova Scotia (BBC Film, dir. Babak Jalali)
- Anemone (Focus Features, dir. Ronan Day-Lewis)
- The Siege (Channel 4, dir. Lewis Arnold)
- The Game (Channel 5)
- Ryan Can’t Read, which I co-wrote and starred in (Oscar-qualifying, now on Disney+)
Recognition and stage
International Best Actor at ShortShorts Film Festival Tokyo. I also wrote and perform Cartoonopolis, which marked ten years at the Edinburgh Fringe and Liverpool Playhouse.
Why FUME
I’m neurodivergent too. I built FUME as the room I wished I’d had, one where you work with your brain, not against it, guided by someone who is doing the work alongside you.
